Essay2-01a: A Living Room Is A Comfortable Place!

I have some my favorite place. But I like my home the best. The reason why I like my home is I can relax there. My home was built before I was born. It was built twenty three years ago. I am nineteen years old now. So I have lived in my home since I was born. I feel a strong attachment to my home. Especially I like my living room. I spend many times there. And I do many things there because I feel comfortable.

My house is a two-story building. The living is on the first floor. When I return home, I enter living room at once. There is my space. For example, I keep textbooks, notes, files, dictionaries, cosmetics, games, an audio player, personal computer on a small table in the corner. So I can study, makeup and relax in the living room. I always do assignments there. Other people say that “You should study in your room. If you do that, you study harder than now.” But I study in the living room because I got used to do that. Studying there is comfortable for me.

Also I spend time with my family in the living room. I talk about daily happenings with my family. They always hear my talking. When I was in trouble, I can ask my family. They give me some advices. It helps me all the time. And we watch TV together. I usually sit down on the sofa then. It is good to sit and lie. While lying on the sofa, I become to sleep. The living room’s atmosphere is good.

There are big windows in the living room. I can see the garden at the window. My father glows flowers and vegetables in the garden. In May, he plowed the garden and planted some young mini-tomato plants, young eggplant plants, young cucumber plants and young okra plants. He harvested the crops in this summer. I ate the crops, mini-tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, okras. It was good taste. It is nice to eat vegetables that grow up in my garden. Seeing the garden at the windows is one of my pleasures. The green heals me.

The living room is comfortable place for me. I usually stay living room expect sleeping. I study, eat food, take a nap, watch TV, and use my computer in the living room. And my family is always in living room too. I spend with my family there. So I feel relieved at it.

Travel to Kansai part1

I went to Kumamoto Traffic Center after school to go to Osaka. I was going to take the night bus at 9 o'clock, but the bus had trouble. The bus left at 10 o'clock. It was 1 hour later! I was worried about this trip. The bus was crowded than I expected. It was Friday night, so it was crowded. In the bus, I usually slept. The night bus is cheaper than Shinkansen. However the night bus needs 9 hours to Osaka, Shinkansen needs 5 hours to Osaka. If you have times and you have physical strength, I recommend the night bus to you.

I arrived at Higashi Umeda Station at 7. I left for Osaka Station to meet Hi-chan. She said "I am in front of Center ticket gate. Please come here" I looked for the ticket gate. At 7:30, I met her in front of center ticket gate. We were glad to meet each other. We met for a month. And we wanted to something eat, but it is early morning, the store was closed. We gave up the idea of eating breakfast in Osaka Station. We decided to go to Nishinomiya. We took the train to Nishinomiya. The urban train is difficult to take for us.

We arrived at Nishinomiya, we eat ASAMAC as breakfast. So we waited for Fu-chan. She is our friend who lives in Nishinomiya. She came there from night duty. We were glad to meet. And we went to Fu-chan’s house. After we arrived at her house, we prepared for going to Kobe at once. In Kobe, we ate lunch and took Purikura. Kobe is urban. There were many people.

At 4:40, we went to Kobe VARIT. Kobe VARIT is live house. We went there to see Kra’s live. The live started at 5. We enjoyed it very much. The live was very exciting! I was glad that I could listen my favorite song live. I want to write about the live more! However I don’t know how to express… The live finished at 7:30.
After the live finished, we returned home. And we talked about the live and other topic until late at night.

Typing Week1: My favorite season

My favorite season is winter. Winter is very cold season, but I feel happy when I am wrapped up in a blanket. My home is near mountain. So it gets very cold at night. In winter, I cannot part with the blanket in my home. When I lie down in my bed, I pull many blankets over myself. Winter is very cold season, but there are many events in winter. First is my birthday. My birthday is December 21th. I think that I don’t want to age however I am glad of my birthday. Second is Christmas. Third is New Year. I eat great dinner and I spend with my family at these days. So winter is the enjoyment for me.

September 22th

I went to downtown with Ryoko and Satoko after school. First we went to TSUTAYA. We searched books we want. I want to read a lot of books. There were a lot of books. On the way Satoko returned home. We were sad. Ryoko and I thought how spend from now. We decided it to going to a different bookstore. The bookstore is KIKUYASHOTEN. We looked for books which Ryoko wanted, but we didn’t find it. I bought a guide book of Italy. Then we went to MISUDO. We spent long time there. We talked about summer vacation and other. Also we read the guide book which I bought. As we read it, we wanted to go to Italy. I want to go there someday! We went to DAISO to buy buttons because I have lost button in the school. However I didn’t find it… I was shocked. I have to go to other store later. At 8:30, we were hungry. We ate dinner at Mac. We talked a lot again. Our talk didn’t stop. I get along well with her. In the way home back, we bought some doughnut for our family at MISUDO in Kumamoto Station. I talked a lot with her, but I thought that it was insufficient to talk!!

I got some souvenirs from my friends again!


This is souvenirs from Haruna and Misato. They are chocolates! They went to America during summer vacation. So the souvenir is made in America. It is good taste! I thought that chocolate made in America is very sweet. But it is attractive for me.

I read this book “The Billy Goats Gruff” The three Billy goats gruff were leaving their farm to look for food. Their friends said “You can’t!” because a terrible troll was on the way. Their friends were afraid of the terrible troll so they could not go out. But the Billy goats gruff wanted to go out to look for food. They met the terrible troll on the way, just as they expected. But they defeated the terrible troll. They could go ahead. Of course other animals could go ahead, too. They got much food in the forest. They became very happy. I thought that the Billy goats gruff were very bravery. If I was there, I never go out because I was afraid of the terrible troll.

Fall semester has started!

Today is the first day of fall semester! I met my friends at school after a long time. The first period was an introduction to Christianity. It was a difficult and boring subject but I can know about Christianity. My family’s religion is Buddhism. However I do not think about it so much. There is a difference of thinking between Japanese and foreigner. The second period was free time. I went to the library with Nabe and Ayaka. I watched a movie at audio corner. The movie was “The Surrogate” It was an excited movie. But I didn’t watch all because I had no time. I want to watch a continuation in next Friday. So I am going to write a movie review on this blog. At lunch time, I went to the lunch room and ate lunch with Nabe, Ayaka, Nami, Sakichan and Airin. The third period was an introduction to linguistics. It was the first time to take the lecture. The fourth period was a history of America. I was very tried to take the lectures. However I was glad to meet my friends.

This is PIONE of grapes. My aunt who lives in Okayama sent it to my family every year. I love PIONE very much. Its kind is seedless and the skin is thin, so it is easy to eat. Of course it is very good taste. There are some PIONE in a refrigerator now. I want to eat it now!

This is candy. Its taste is a little salty but lightly. The salt from Germany is used. My mother bought it for my father.

This is bread KOPPEPAN. It was written that the cream is Milky taste. It was interested in it, so I bought it. I ate it at lunch. The taste was Milky…? I didn’t know then. It was so sweet. If I eat it again, I want to eat with candy of Milky. So I will know whether its taste is Milky or not.

MOS

Today I took a MOS examination. I arrived at the school earlier than usual because I wanted to practice! I saw many students practicing in the study corner. I practiced exercise once there. I met Yukari there and we moved to 1447 room. There were many students. Yukari and I sat next to Airin and met Saki and Sakichan. I was nervous to take the exam but I relaxed thanks to her because I talked with her about TV drama. I forgot worry about the exam a little. I talked about INVESTIGATOR IN ATAMI and next drama. The teachers explained about the examination at 10:05. The procedure for exam was difficult however I started the exam without incident. It was difficult; I could not solve a problem. I was nervous whether I pass or not….　
When I saw the result, I felt quite relieved…because I passed the exam!! Of course my friends passed it too. I am happy now.

September 13th

Today I went to school to take the lecture. It started at 10 o’clock and finished at 17. It seemed very hard but we could take many rests. At lunch time, I talked about our summer vacation with my friends. I had not met my friends for summer vacation so I have been glad. Today I met Saki, Airin, Yukari, Sakichan and Mie. They were kind and interesting.
I have to take the lecture this week to pass the examination. DO MY BEST!

There are a lot of favorite drinks. I drink green tea every day. When I eat food, I usually drink it. I thought that green tea suits when we eat food. Many people say that it is good that green tea is hot. But I don’t think so because I am NEKOJITA. I can’t eat food that is too hot. I usually blow on green tea to cool it! Also I drink TOCYU tea. It is different taste from green tea or oolong tea. My family and I can drink it, but there might be a person who cannot drink it. It is taste with feature. My mother said it is good for health. I will drink it after this because I believe her words.

I don’t belong to any circles now. But I belonged to school club in my junior high school days. I belonged to the Art club. It was so funny club! I like the club very much. I talked with the members of the Art club. The member was good friends each other and the teacher was interesting. We drew pictures every day. I often drew scribbling on my sketchbook. The teacher sometimes made us sketch a plaster figure. Sketch was a basic of drawing. I was usually bored to do it. In third grade I began to make handicraft. I used a saber saw to make objects. Also I made sample of food with my friends. They were Sushi and cakes. The sample of food was favorably received. I thought that Art is fun!

My elementary school was small. There were few people in my class. There were twenty of us in all. Boys were eleven, girls was nine. So we were close friend. My favorite elementary school memory is school trip. We went to Nagasaki. We took a ferry boat. Its name was The Ocean Arrow. We fed many sea mews on a deck! Many sea mews flew to us. I felt fear a little. The places where we went were Mr. Glover’s residence, Oura Tensyudo, Dejima, Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum. I was sad that I saw many exhibits in Nagasaki Atomic Bomb but we must know that sad history. I thought that Peace is the best, we don’t repeat the War. Nagasaki has sad history, but the City is fine. I want to go there again.

I am not good at sport so I don’t like to play sport very much. But I like to watch sport. There are some sports games on TV. For example they are baseball, golf, soccer. Sometimes there are American football game, rugby game, tennis game. We can watch a lot of sports games on TV. Also I like the Olympic Games. A lot of country participated in the Olympic Games. I watched many games on TV last winter Olympic Games. I like mogul, snow board half pipe, figure skating. Mogul and snow board half pipe is very exciting sports. Figure skating is flowery. I have never watched these sports in person. I want to watch these sports in person someday.

I love dessert very much. For example I like a pudding, an ice cream, a jelly, yoghurt and chocolate! I want to eat some desserts every day. But if I eat some desserts every day, I will gain a lot of weight. So I sometimes eat some dessert. I have favorite desserts recently. One day my mother bought a can of fruits and agar. She made fruits jelly with canned fruits, agar, sugar and syrup of can of fruits. I don’t know that she made fruits jelly, so I was surprised at it. I ate it at once. It was not sweet than I expected. I thought it is just good taste! I said “Please make this again!” to my mother. I am looking forward to eat it!

September 7th

Today I woke up at 9. My family had left then. I ate breakfast alone. I thought that I should wake up early because I will go to my university next week to take a lecture.
I washed the dishes after breakfast. It is my assignment for summer vacation. And I used my computer. Internet is interesting. I enjoyed it in the morning.

I got a letter for my university. It was a list of student’s grade!! I was nervous when I read the contents… How was your grade?

CROWS ZERO

I watched movies today and yesterday. One was “CROWS ZERO”, the other was “CROWS ZERO Ⅱ”. There were a lot of violence scenes. I thought that it seemed painful. But there was friendship with main characters. In addition, my favorite actors appeared on the movies! I was glad.
