BR 2-17: The Magic Gift

Why I chose this book to read is an illustration was good. The color was beautiful. It attracted my attention. And the story based on an old Koran folk tales. I am interested in Asian folk tale recently. So I was glad to read this book. It was interesting story. Chin liked to work for people. He used his all money for people; he didn’t use his money for him. The monk said “I feel faint. Could you carry me back to my temple?” (Punter, 2009, p.16). When monk asked that Chin carried him to his temple, he was so tired. But he carried the monk to the temple. I thought that he is very kind people. So the monk gave the magic item. The magic item is fantastic! I thought that it was good the monk to give Chin the magic item. Everyone would want them. There are also greedy people. They would use the magic item for only themselves. However, Chin used the item for many people!
